Rotary International Institute workshop

November 2010..
Bangkok...

Dear Fellow Rotary International Officer,
Greetings from Rotary Institute 2010.
On behalf of the Convener RID K.R. Ravindran and the Organising Committee, it is my pleasure and privilege to invite you and your spouse to the Rotary Institute of Zones 4,5 & 6A to be held at Bangkok in November 2010.
The Patriot Poet from South India Bharathiar said (over 90 years ago) - “we in the Indian sub-continent shall not be insular and we shall sail the seas and oceans to discover the treasures of neighbouring lands”.
In that spirit, I had the good fortune of holding the PETS (2006-2007) at Colombo during my tenure as Governor along with Rotarians of R.I.District 3220. This was the first ever Multi District PETS outside India and all of us came away with positive life long memories.
Now, with encouragement from RID Ravindran, we have planned the first Institute to be held outside our Zone, with the confidence that it will be an unique event, which will present a taste of the international flavour of Rotary. This is a not to be missed opportunity to reconnect with other RI Officers and enjoy a memorable holiday with your family.
As this is the first ever Institute to be held outside our Zone, I am sure we will face many challenges but I am equally certain that with your participation and cooperation this will be a runaway success.
The committee is making excellent arrangements for flight bookings, reception at Bangkok, a great venue with interesting programmes and post event sightseeing to give you and your family a memorable Institute.
Marlene Kamdar and I look forward to the pleasure of welcoming you and your family at the Rotary Institute 2010 at Bangkok .
Yours in Rotary,

J.B.KAMDARCHAIRMANROTARY INSTITUTE 2010
